Course Credit & Completion Policy
Course Credit
All courses are credit/no credit courses. The Creative Institution does not issue quality points or a GPA. To receive credit for a course, the student must:
Attend a sufficient number of classes (see Attendance & Makeup Work Policy) and/or complete the required number of hours for completion;
Complete all assignments for the course, with a minimum score of Basic;
(Internship only) Receive a satisfactory performance evaluation from the internship site supervisor AND from the internship course instructor.
Hours Requirements
For courses requiring a specific number of hours, the student must maintain a log of hours worked. The log must be signed by the internship supervisor and/or the course instructor. In the case of a paid internship, the student may turn in a time-clock report from the employer that demonstrates the minimum number of hours were completed.
Transfer Credit
The Creative Institute does not award credit for previous education, training, or work experience.
Program Completion
In order to graduate from the Creative Institute, students must pass all courses; all credits must be earned in order to receive a certificate of completion.
